Riga Castle / Latvian National Museum of History

Riga Castle is one of the best preserved Teutonic Order castles in the Baltic Sea region. Today, the castle-type castle built in the 16th century with a forecourt, which has been rebuilt and expanded over time, can be visited. The museum premises are located in the Southern wing of the castle, the entrance to which is from Daugavas gāte.

The museum in Riga Castle offers historical premises for rent: refectory, chapel, small conference hall and event hall. These halls of various capacities can be used for conferences, seminars, presentations, courses, concerts, dance performances, theater performances, graduations, official receptions/ceremonies, banquets, etc. Museum premises in the castle can be accessed by car or truck, paid parking is located near the castle on 18. novembra krastmala, there is a bicycle parking lot next to the museum entrance. An elevator can be used for the needs of equipment and food delivery. The castle premises is suitable for people with mobility impairments.
