○ Rigas Cirks is a multifunctional culture and arts centre that deliberately works towards offering relevant circus shows to wider audiences, as well as offers Rigas Cirks premises for rent. Rigas Cirks facilities are suitable for organizing a wide variety of events, including conferences, seminars, performances, corporate, as well as cultural events. Riga Circus offers four rooms for rent – an arena (with or without stands), an elephant hall, a black box/theater hall, and an information room. Most of these rooms are used in conjunction with the arena, depending on the client’s technical needs.
Since September 2018, after the renovation of the premises, Rigas Cirks has been hosting a series of cultural events – contemporary art festivals, exhibitions, concerts – making it ideal for providing a variety of rental space options for corporate or public events of all sizes and genres. The circus arena is equipped with multifunctional stands that can be arranged in the manner required for the event – either in a circle or in a frontal form – but, if necessary, they can also be removed, thus making the arena and its capacity even more spacious. The circus arena is also equipped with sound, lighting and curtain systems, however, Rigas Cirks does not provide additional elements such as catering services, decorations and other equipment rental. One of the rental options offered by Rigas Cirks is the circus arena with stands (760 m2) – this option has a capacity of 416 people, but the front row in front of the stands can accommodate an additional 40 people: therefore a total of 456 places are available. The arena balcony can accommodate an additional 200 people, who can be seated in two or three rows with the addition of extra stands. Rigas Cirks for rent also offers the circus arena without the stands (760 m2) – in this case the capacity of the venue is up to 800 people (standing room only), while if high-top or dinner tables are used for the event, the capacity of the premises (including the balcony) is around 300 people. Rigas Cirks for rent also offers the Elephant Hall (47 m2), which has a capacity of around 10 to 15 people, or can be used as an additional room for technical needs during the event; the black box/Theater Hall (178 m2), which has a capacity of 50 people in a theater seating arrangement, as well as the Information Room (50 m2), which has a capacity of up to 30 people in a classroom or seminar seating arrangement.
