Culture centre “Siguldas Devons”

The design of the Siguldas Devon façade uses decorative panels that have a pattern of sandstone outcrops from the Devil's Cliffs, where the Devonian fish and flora fossils are most abundant.

The features of the Devonian period have also given names to the halls of the cultural centre: “Radix” (large hall, Latin - root), “Silva” (small hall, Latin - forest) and “Digiti” (cinema hall, Latin - fingers). The names of the halls are reminiscent of the events of the Devonian era, which significantly influenced the evolution of the world.
