The Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga has an excellent location in the city of Riga situated opposite the National Opera House and the picturesque city canal. The west side of the hotel overlooks a quiet pedestrian street and Old Town. It is easily accessible from the airport by car transfer, which takes 15-20 mins. The main guest attractions are within 5-10 mins walk from hotel.

Originally built in 1878 the E-shape building was destroyed during the Second World War and rebuilt shortly after. The Hotel was completely renovated and opened in October 2017 under Kempinski brand. 141 guest rooms in six categories, Amber Restaurant, Grand Bar, Lobby Lounge, Stage 22 Bar & Restaurant , Cigar Lounge, Kempinski The SPA.
